hehehe, I do use photographic reference on some pics (usually just to come up with a good pose) but this one is 100 percent original. :p All from the mind ;)

This is great! Do you really draw overhand like that? That's amazing, I can only do figure drawing that way. Your portrayal of anatomy always floors me, especially in a complex pose like this. Just fantastic. And it's great to have you here!

in rough sketches I sometimes use this way of drawing, yes. It's a fast way to block out the volumes and the line directions.But for the finished pieces (like this one)I do it the more traditional way. ;) Anatomy is a really complex thing and I have to spend a lot of time and effort on it to make it look 'so natural' LOL So it ofthen means redrawing the same pic three or four times until it feels right! :p

this manages to be cute and hot at the same time, i... try my best to make that sound intelligent somehow.

and of course it's expertly drawn and colored. i love the hocks and hooves.
