Awww little kids and little old ladies get the best reactions when I wear BC <3
She just loved me and this was such a sweet encounter as I prowled various places on Halloween, here at a Hobby Lobby.
I did so much this October, one huge full weekend event where I fullsuited BC a ton and wore the loftwing, three different events last Friday and Saturday where I halfsuited as BC, and an event on Halloween where I halfsuited BC along with just hoping around town letting folks interact with a saber toothed tiger (Baskin Robins, Round Table, the mall, Petco, Hobby Lobby, Spirit Shop, Incredible Pets, and getting the "in costume deal" at Chipotle)
I adore Halloween and October in general, my sister and I ham it up every year, I had a lot of fun this October doing tons of costuming with friends and people I care about.
I may do a collage of photos, if I find time, for now I wanted to at least be sure I put up this one :3

I work with a LOT of seniors and I got to say, major props to you.
I adore my work because even though I'm just talking to them about insurance and medical bills, for the twenty minutes they're a part of my life, I make sure I can get a smile or laugh out of them. People like you, I respect.

This is extremely touching and fills my heart.
I actually don't live anywhere where any children show up for trick or treating. My friend called a zoo that was having a Halloween even and asked if his friend could bring a costume.
So we showed up, and all the kids were in their trick or treating garb, collecting candy from stations all around the park.
I seemed to be a big hit. Some kids were afraid, others were extremely friendly...
At one point a mother wheeled a child over....
It took me a moment to realize after his outstretched hands and loudly asking where the "lion" was that I realized he was blind.
I came near, and his hands were immediately searching out my claws and mouth. Inside that mask, I can assure you I was tearing up.
He wanted to feel my teeth and all sorts of things.
So I broke my one rule and guided his hand to the mouth, to which he reached inside and felt my breath on his hand...
He was thrilled and hugged me tight.
I will say I have to agree with you. It's moments like that that make Halloween and costumes just.... right. It's something that completely warms my heart.
And it's driving me to make a second suit for myself. I may or may not regret the space it takes up, but hopefully the experience with it will be worth it.
I hope to see this photo collage soon!
That old lady is just so PRECIOUS. You can see how excited she is, she's just so lit up! Wonderful picture, dear! This is fabulous.
