One hot summer day, while Lauren is visiting Serena, whom she was introduced to through Volcan, and Lauren notices how heat-sensitive the lovely hippocampus is, so she suggests they go swimming. Wanting to cool off, and always eager to swim -aquatic being, after all- Serena agrees to go to the beach with her.
Although she quickly learns she's been schnooked; for they have gone to a public beach! It's large enough that people are few and far apart, but it's still enough that Serena feels nervous, and starts to have second thoughts about being there, but the zebra, playfully holding her tail, is intent on keeping her there. Serena still barely understands the people of the surface world, particularly at how much of a flirt Lauren is being, but maybe she will be convinced to stay, somehow?
