OMG! The face staring back at you – your face – is that of a Trapinch! You can’t believe it, you love Flygons! The cute pudgy bellies, the big round red eyes, the swishy tail…
You sit there gawking at yourself in the water and fawning over your new appearance for several minutes. This is the most awesome thing EVER! Finally, a loud noise breaks your trance; the Ekans is clearing his throat in frustration.
“Hey, you! Stupid! Stop staring at the water! I’m going to eat you and prove to everyone that I… er, the Serpent Gang is the best! Prepare yourself!!”
The little snake has definitely got some spunk to him… It doesn’t seem like he intends to leave you alone anytime soon; a fight is inevitable. You’re a Trapinch! Surely you can… spit sand or bite him or… something. Maybe this whole thing is new to you, but you’re positive you can take the Poison type in a battle…
Or you could eat him. He seems pretty convinced that you’re nothing more than a meal, maybe it’s time he took a look in the mirror. You ARE kind of hungry… and om nom nom is just hot! Like seriously, you had an online blog and everything dedicated to stuff like this.
Then there’s the third option, avoiding the fight altogether. Trapinch aren’t the fastest with their stubby little legs, but maybe you could get away from this dork. That leaves the possibility that he could track you down again and become a further problem, thanks to you tiring yourself out.
Finally, perhaps you could make friends with him? Maybe join this… gang thing he keeps talking about? It seems like he could use a few more members, but then you WOULD end up as his lackey and he is a total dork.
It’s almost time to make a decision. The look in his eyes is staring to grow more and more irritated with him impatience. If you keep contemplating all the choices, he may just eat you anyway.
TUTORIAL BATTLE
>Attack (Choose the Attack option if you wish to engage your opponent in battle. Battle will continue until one side is incapable of continuing, at which point other options will become available)
>Eat (Choose the Eat option to attempt to eat your foe. Some foes may be edible from the get-go, others may be too strong and require a little work to get them to this point. Look at the situation and judge carefully; think of it as tossing a Pokeball.)
>Escape (Choose the Escape option to turn tail and run. Again, factors may make this more or less likely to succeed and there’s no guarantee that you’ll get away from your foe for long.)
>Talk (Choose the Talk option if you want to talk. Maybe you can get your foe to lower their defenses? Maybe you can make your foe a friend? Or maybe you’ll just learn something helpful. Different foes will respond differently to attempts to communicate)

I'll vote Talk.. It would be cool to have a snake friend, and probably we could help each other, and I could learn more about this place I now am. Being a member of a gang with a fellow pred sounds cool and productive! Of course, if he won't listen to reason, well, I do suppose I wouldn't mind some food... There's a reason for such a big maw, right?
