And here we have it, NICOLE's personal look IN COLOR!!!
Having attained personal autonomy over herself, NICOLE designs her avatar to reflect that she is a person with every bit of uniquity that defines her IN COLOR!!! Her pony tails are now there and she even has a purple highlight going down part of her hair.
As a product of the portable unit, NICOLE isn't tangible but now that she can go along on missions, she can grant access to all that isn't tangible in the virtual world. Sorta like TRON meets Star Wars IN COLOR!!!
This was probably not the best idea with colored pencils and a scanner. Also her pants are supposed to be black but that's not an easy thing to do in this scenario. And I'm not too proud of the face. They never have a reason to show it but I'm not sure about her belly and how unmarked it would be.

I don't remember that but recently Sally was roboticized and did get into a scrap with Tails as they tried to capture her and find a way to deroboticize her. And yeah, the comic has too grimdark because the writer thinks he's talented but isn't. He can only go for shock as a means to drama.
