A T-shirt design submission for my college. I am... really happy with this baby. When I started inking I was really upset because it looked horrible. But after I got about halfway done it was starting to come together and I really had fun with it after that.
These are three of my favorite fish in Puget Sound, and they are probably the three oddest fish in this area. Wolf Eel (Anarrhichthys ocellatus), Pacific Spiny Lumpsucker ( Eumicrotremus orbis), and Ratfish (Hydrolagus colliei). I met two adorable Wolf Eels at a small aquarium on the coast this summer, they are HUGE! And I find them completely hug-able and adorable.
If my design is chosen by the merchandise board at my college, I'll post a journal with a link to where you can purchase it online. If I don't get chosen, I'll probably make this into my own screenprint and sell them through my etsy.
This was so much fun, I really should seriously draw fish more. I doodle fish all the time during class, but I don't make actual art pieces of them too often.
