At FurFright, I was asked to draw a Bidoof badge. When I began my sketching, the goal was to have him perched on a rock, but I drew his paws too level. I put a straight line under him, and wondered if I could draw him in a trainer's backpack or something.
Then I had another idea.
The client supported the joke, as it fit with the in-joke that inspired the commission in the first place. He showed me a Bidoof button that his friends secretly stuck on him, which meant he had to wear it all con. I assume this badge was for revenge - which is the best possible use for all my badges.
As I was inking this, we discovered male and female Bidoofs have different amount of tail puffs. I decided to trash a male, so I don't get sexism accusations added to my Bidoof hate crime.
