PMDVE 3
With one person trying to decide between Talk and Eat, I did you guys a favor and went for the choice in YOUR favor. Ain’t I a sweetheart…
“Hey, look, I’m not really sure what all is going on here, but maybe we can talk things through…” Your words catch in your throat. If you hadn’t just woke up minutes ago as a Pokemon, maybe you’d just jump him, but for now, in a strange new world, maybe trying to talk things over isn’t a bad idea.
“Excuse me?” The Ekans looks offended. “Talk? You? A mere Trapinch, destined to be my dinner wish to talk to me?” With a rattling laugh, he coils up, preparing to attack.
“Dude, dude, wait!” Perhaps you can appeal to the Ekans in another way? “Look, we can team up together, you and I. Together, we’ll be able to bring down bigger prey, and your… Serpent Gang would definitely come out on top! Just think about it!”
This thought seems appeal to him and he ponders things over for a moment. Perhaps this won’t end so badly after all? “Yeah… together, we could come out on top…take over the entire region…” Something snaps in the snake and he glares at you suddenly. “Or you’re just trying to trick me into saving your own hide!”
Man, this Ekans is dense. You let out a sigh and shake your head, your oversized jaws clicking in frustration. There doesn’t seem to be any reasoning with him, maybe you should have just ate him. But charging a hungry predator who already has his eye on you headfirst might not end in your favor. But then again, now he seems to be arguing with himself…
As you stare at the poisonous snake, you stifle a laugh as he seems to be switching back and forth between accepting your proposal and convincing himself that you’re a treacherous… well, snake. Escape would be feasible at this point, as would a battle. The chances that you could catch him off guard and do some serious damage are quite high… Or you could capitalize on his confusion and hope he’s too muddled in the head to fight off your attempts to eat him… decisions, decisions…
Whatever you decide, you’d better decide fast. Even morons will only argue with themselves for so long…
VOTING TIME:
Since it has become clear that talking is ineffective in this situation, it is no longer an option. However, the circumstances have changed thanks to your actions. The chance of success for other actions may be increased.

Trapinch doesn't learn a ground type attack until level 10 (though that was when Black and White 2 came out. Prior to that it wasn't until level 25. And the attack was Sand Tomb.)
When you start in PMD, you're usually level 5 I believe. No ground type attacks technically. I don't remember any moves being designated, anyway...
