I've been thinking for the last month or so about mask designs that would work if you wear glasses (as I do). I designed and cut this a week ago, and it worked pretty well. Rather than trying to cover the face, I had it go across the forehead and then down the sides of your face. With the horns sweeping upwards it's somewhat crown-like, while the bits down the sides remind me of guards on a helm.

The hatch-work design of the surface was based on my most popular sea dragon mask. Though the helm-like shape of this seems to better fit the image of a dragon rider.

While this design is reasonable, there are a couple things about it that I'm thinking about trying differently. I think I'll make another one where I form the horns in the other direction so they bulge upwards towards the center of their width. And I'll probably do something with the things that come down. I may try making them bigger and more impressive, or I may try just getting rid of them.

Oh, and that's me. That's my face. I think this is the best shot of my face that I've posted here in years. Normally I've cropped my face out of photos, or just had my friends pose with my masks. But I decided to post a photo of me. I'm not entirely sure why. Maybe I'll make this my profile ID at some point in the future.
