I also hope you could learn something by coloring this. Earth colors are my favorite fur colors by the way. <3
Hint: They go nicely with achromatic colors. Depending on how dark or bright the fur colors are darkish red tones, grayish olivegreen and lighter blue also work. Putting rather bright colors in contrast with Black/white is also a nice touch for clothes and always worth a shot. :)
