Iron Artist 012: Gilian
Commission for Gilian.
Although it’s not the best composition I’ve ever done (I have some things I’ll try for a wider piece next time… thanks for pointing out durdly things, Firefeathers!), I had a lot of fun painting this. I think it’ll do just fine as a wallpaper, haha~ :D
6-7 hours (aka way way overboard)… lost track of time because we started watching Betty Boop cartoons. :(

Just that compositionally- the lines of the character and the background don't swim together very well, it's always hard doing a large,wide peice to make it seem like they belong together- like the line of the tail and the legs point out of the image, and they don't engage the rest of the picture. She pretty much chose a difficult orientation that could've worked together better
