My 5 month old umbrella cockatoo and I dressed as pirates to give children candy for Halloween!
I was actually really disappointed to see not a lot of children wearing costumes this year! Children were trick or treating in plain clothes!
My boy and I came up with really stupid cheap costumes you don't need to spend a lot of time or money making they included
Wear a trash bag- you are trash
put a large piece of duct tape on your chest- you are a broken item
draw eyes on your hands- you are a monster
draw an eye on your head- you are a tri clops
make a super man logo and tape it to yourself your "Super ________"

I did'nt wanna wear too much costume because he does like to chew on things. SO I did'nt want to wear my nice pirate shirt, leather corset or any SHINY accessories (birds love to chew shiny!~). This was my birds first Halloween and he seemed to really like having the kids come by. He even said "come back" to some tick or treaters before they left <3
Oh I getcha. I decided to hand out candy one year dressed as a gypsy. I wanted my ferret to join me. Problem is ferrets also really love shiny objects and to make a long story short, I got part of my ear bitten off.
Im glad to hear he had such a great first Halloween. Aw thats really sweet, the kids must have been so thrilled! :)
