Same difference ;)

K = Karbine = Carbine
G = Gewehr = Rifle

You can use them interchangeably to some extent.

The G43 was the first version of the port and piston semi auto German rifle, and the K43 was the marginally smaller/lighter Carbine. So they are technically different rifles, and the one I have is a G43 so...I guess, all in all, pictured would be a G43, not a K43 :)
