A third design that throws abstract aestetics to the wind and goes purely functional. Apparently my supervisor likes this the most, I personally think it's doesnt fit well with the squarish surroundings. But ehh..

The idea is cool and I agree with your teacher this looks better than the other 2 you posted earlier. It stands out more than the buildings around it and would grab people's attention better. My only question is how come the text is in mandarin?

AH OK now I understand. Was stationed in japan with the marine corps that's the only reason I know that it isn't japanese.

i like this one best as well, mainly because it breaks with the environment a bit more. makes it more noticable as an eyecatcher, where the other two were more in theme and as such perchance blended in a bit too well

I guess its just a difference in tastes, I personally like blended architecture with all the components sorta looking like they belong but have uniqueness to each on a subtle level.
