Was there ever a cat so clever as magical Mr. Mistoffelees?
An older painting of mine (2006) that I'm still pretty pleased with. Don't really like the face/hair, but I'm verrry pleased about the body. Mr. Mistoffelees from Andrew Lloyd Webber's 'Cats'! Absolutely adore the musical. Makes me happy! ^^ The other musical I really really love (even more so than Cats) is 'Jesus Christ Superstar', which makes me sad. Balance... Acrylics on canvas, 30x40 cm.

The first thing that catched my eye was the background! I like the rough texture in it - it wouldn't look as good if it was blended smoothly. ;) I also like the body - the silhouette style looks quite interesting. There's some nice texture in his shirt collar too! I'm not a fan of the Cats musical - actually I get very bad allergic reaction when I even think about them - but I like this painting!
