A quick excersize that my art class did last week to refamiliarize ourselves with paint. We were using stock boards, and acrylic paints. We had 40 minutes to do this, nothing more, nothing less.
Self criticism- i probably could have done better on the right gourd, i should have gone in with a smaller brush and pick out the details.

It was the last thing I did with about seven minutes left until the end of the class. It was funny, looking at it as I finished, and feeling that it was the most horrible piece of work in the world, only to be told by my art teacher it was one of the better ones in the class. I'm glad that you feel that it is a good painting :)
