Everyone, this is Loki...our new puppy.
It feels a little odd getting another dog so soon after our last, wonderful one passed away, but sadly...it was a now or never moment. I would have liked to give Buster a little more mourning time...but it was either get a puppy now...or wait until December...which our family didn't want to do.
Loki is 6 weeks old, and he's a Siberian Husky. Piercing blue eyes, brown and silver coat with a white under belly and face. He's aort of shy right now, but he was taken from home, so you can't really blame the little guy. I find it funny that our puppy has the same eye burn marks that Blaze does lol
I feel a little odd about it, but...it'll be good in time ^_^

Well if it helps... getting a new dog right after the other passed away doesn't meen you show disrespect for the other. You know you loved him/her, and will not forget about him/her... And as long as you know that for yourself, there is no reason to feel guilty in anyway... And you can always mourn, right?..
Well this is a real cutey. And I just love his markings ^^
And Loki is a beautiful name too...

Oh I love huskies so much. I've been thinking about getting a dog lately but I will have to keep whatever it is in a fairly small apartment. I don't want a little yipper and I know the place is to small for a husky...thinking maybe getting some kind of husky cross. It all depends. But Loki is adorable, I really hope you enjoy him
I happened to be in a situation identical to yours: barely a month had passed since my GSD died of a brain tumor, that I found out this breeder who had to give her last two husky pups for free. I know you didn't mean any disrespect for your dear one.
As for Loki... CYYYYYUUUUUUUUUUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHH!!! Oh, sweet vision, I'm melting
