I have Pokemon X, and therefore I can't naturally catch a Skrelp, but my friend was so generous to trade one to me. When asked what I'd like her to be named, I decided on "Frumpy", due to the Pokemon's raggedy appearance (not to mention I have a preexisting character named that), and thus I received an ugly little stink-horse that I immediately fell in love with.

Frumpy's now a Dragalge, and due to her rather bad speed stat I imagined her being a rather bedraggled, weary kind of Pokemon that kinda... drifts along like the animal she's modeled after.

I enjoyed the freedom of letting my shaky lines remain along some areas, for that's how they kinda turn out without ctrl-z murdering the shit out of them. It's nice to draw digitally too; I suppose I was merely warming up for SOMETHING ELSE too... I hope y'all enjoy it.
