Daaaang, kudos to you then! That's pretty hard cord using a laptop trackpad... I don't I couldn't do it. D: -clings to my tablet- Have you ever used photoshop or a tablet? I bet you'd have lots of fun with it and you could do so much more. Still, I applaud you for being able to draw on a laptop trackpad!!!

i have 2 versions of photoshop and hate using them with a passion. i have a tablet but i also hate that, and haven't touched it for a long time. i prefer firealpaca for the smoothing tool, and SAI for it's color wheel, as well as the line/curve tool for cell shading. i don't soft shade often, if i do i use GIMP, since the smudge tool there seems to be more consistent, also, more than one undo. i;ve been using a trackpad since i got hold of my first laptop, and i must have been 13?
i have given other things a go but eh
old habits die hard! lol

thanks! i may get the tablet out again IF i can find the pen...im sure it;s still somewhere under my desk from when i got frustrated with it.

Speed is definitely a key component to why I started using the tablet. It let me freely draw like I do on paper, sooooo good. Now I want one of those tablet screens where you draw right on the computer screen! They're so expensive...but one day. One day. :3

i'd love one of those. my main issue with my tablet was if i'm drawing on the tablet, i can't see what i've just drawn ON the tablet, only on the screen, so i get confused

Yea, it was totally confusing at first for me too. After a while though it just became second nature! lol
That's why I'm sort of hesitant to even dream about getting the tablet where you draw on the screen, because then I feel like I'll get spoiled. XD
