Thank you! It was interesting to think of a concept for this, it was after watching a lot of Frozen Planet that I kind-of just doodled the thumbnail.
Yea, masonite has been a nice switch, it's very comfortable to work on and is much harder to damage or destroy than traditional canvas. My normal favorite is watercolor but there's some things you just can't achieve with it. I'm afraid I find oils too noxious to work with so acrylic it is!
