So, as you may have seen on the animatronics rack for SEP, the end of the tubing poorly held in place with heat shrink tubing and a copper twist wire. I was hoping that would work since it was cheap and kind of easy to do, but it does not hold the Teflon tube as well as I hoped. So instead, I have opted to make a variant of the guide tube holders I made for mounting the tubing to the base. After experimenting with some designs, this was the most effective by far; being easy to machine and cheap.

I just split some 5-40 brass bolts and crimped them around the tubing. It holds the tube very securely by cutting into the sides of it; TELFON IS A BITCH TO SECURE. The nice part of this design is that the nut can be brazed to the existing bass rails in any orientation, and with the Teflon tube still inside. Teflon does not have a "softening" temperature thanks to its tightly interlaced structure, so as long as I keep the brazing under ~320 C it wont melt at all. I brazed the test pieces in three different orientations to make sure it is mechanically viable.

Crap. I forgot to include a size reference. Well, the rail it is brazed to is the same as in the animatronics rack.
