So, working with these brass components reminded me that I had a bunch of brass work in high school. I dug out this part, which was a vacuum tube held in a brazed brass seat mounted between gears. Yeah, I was going through a steam punk phase, we all have our phases. I have other more intricate, and far more expensive works, such as goggles and a working slide trumpet. I just like this piece out of its simplicity.
