More artwork from my archives: "Lavinia", from 2004.
Although an old picture with a few issues, I still overall like the way this raccoon cutie turned out. With their natural masks, I've always thought of raccoons as being a little mischevious - and Lavinia here is no exception. It's rare for one of my girls to be showing off her panties like this, though - normally, they don't wear them!!
Media info: inks and Tombow ABT markers on Bristol Board.

I'm not going to say if she's never done this before, or a master at it - I'll leave that up to your imagination!
One of the big advantages of the Tombow ABT markers is they're watercolour markers, and they take a little bit longer to dry most other markers. They do still streak a bit, but I was just quick enough to avoid it happening on this picture.
And thank you!

The markers are more appropriately called Tombow ABT Dual Brush Pens, since they have a traditional colouring pen nib on one end, and a brush on the other. They can also be used with water to create a gentle wash effect, much like with watercolour paints (although I've never actually tried it myself).
You can find out a bit more about them from here:-

(That is a UK-based website, though. But it does show the range of the pens!)
One other little thing I should mention: if you do get some of those pens, remember to get some good inking pens, too. Markers have a wonderful habit of dragging the ink if they come into contact with it!
