more Wyrm Lords stuff finished last weekend. this is the Scorcerer for the new bolt on force, and was the first model painted for them to test the colour scheme. I like it :)

I hope to post some squard pics later today if they get finished.

Very impressive. Love the weapon.
I think a hilight of shining gold would top this off nicely, for the brassy metal parts, give it a gleaming edge :3
Otherwise awesome

I'm readig the Horus Heresy books, and i'm really interested in 40k again.
Time to start Marines :D

The photo doesn't show the detail quite as well as I hoped. The metal edges are actually more gold than they appear but are highlighted with a bit of mithril silver to give it a more worn and real world look.

Ah very nice. I personally dont usually hilight my models, usually because I use a lot of metal, I prefer to drybrush several fading layers and so on.
Finally nice to talk to more Warhammer-loving furs, either way!

I'm not as big a fan of dry-brushing any more. You can only paint so many shop armies that way before you loose it completely. Still I do use it when it is called for properly. I do like experimenting with knew techniques on the models :)

All these models are looking awesome, mate. I'm a big fan on Warhammer fantasy and 40K thanks to a good friend, and these look very impressive.
