
I can't believe next March it's gonna be two years since I visited Kyoto. o..O Time just keeps flying on by... Anywho, as I'm stuck in academic limbo, I might as well put up another picture from one of my fond moments living in Japan. xD
This was one of the shrines at Kiyomizu temple in Kyoto. A rather unique shrine at that. It had three aqueducts that poured into the pond in front of it, and off to the side were metal cups under a UV sanitizer. What you're supposed to do is take one of these cups, hold it out, collect some water and drink it as a purification ritual.
So I set my camera on a tripod, set the timer and ran... xD
