Skoda Rapid is making some perceptible remarks about my behavior.
Why this particular car? No idea, but I like it for some reason.
Posting the sketch because I'm not sure if I'll ever get to finishing this one.

This is really amusing to me. XD I've talked to quite a few cars, especially this year, cars I've just casually introduced myself out in public parking lots or whatever.. mostly because they look hot and catch my eye. <XD Though I never really have any meaningful conversation with one out in public, I require privacy for that.. just don't want to get any weird looks from people you know? But I'm sure there've been at least a couple of those cars who probably felt exactly like this.. XD like why are you talking to me? I wouldn't expect cars to be much different then any person, they're not all dying to be talked to you know?
But in my experience, they almost always warm up to you if you persist. Take Sammy, my step-mom's 09' Nissan Sentra and total hottie. I knew she was a bit uneasy and confused by me at first. She had the feeling about her of a skittish dog, the type that if she could she'd have shly backed her head away from my hand when I reached out to pet her hood. Any car would find it odd at first to have some human randomly talking to them and finding them pretty, they're just used to being ignored on a personal level you know? But like I said, they seem to warm up to it, Sammy really seems happy getting the attention and affection now. : )
OH but your picture! XD
You sure are good at drawing cars, have you been drawing them for a while now? Because I definitely feel like drawing cars has sort of a learning curve to it. But you do it perfectly. I'll say it again but I adore how you draw their eyes, keeping them looking like real car-eyes rather then cartoony eyes like I do. I also like how you draw mouths, the car almost looks like he's slightly smiling as he says that.
I really think you should finish this, it's a good drawing! :)

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Honestly it's still an odd thought that cars (or pretty much anything) may be alive in their own way. Think objects can hate their owner/user for trying to be closer to them?
And thanks for picture comments. I haven't really drawn cars before, save for a truck once in a blue moon. I started drawing these after seeing your stuff and talking to you. It's a really neat concept in its own right. I still use photos as refs though. Drawing a car without references is a slightly different story.
I imagined the car making a somewhat amused remark. It actually took me a while to make the mouth reflect that.

You're welcome. :) Maybe it's odd, I can't remember how I felt at first. Maybe for me I was kind of relieved, I've always thought cars had something more to them. Then to find other people who thought that too.. it felt nice to not feel alone and crazy. :) I think you'll learn to love it though, suddenly the world seems so much more.. crowded. XD Even an empty parking lot devoid of people, you see some cars staring at you and you feel the comfort of someone around you.. the cars. Or when you're crossing the road, and you look at the cars stopped to let you pass, the big smiles on their faces and eyes watching you, it feels nice like someone giving you a friendly smile. :)
I don't see why anyone.. like.. anyone would hate someone for wanting to get closer to them. Oo Though I guess it depends what you mean by closer. Introducing yourself and wanting to be friends with them is an innocent enough act. Or if you're meaning like a sexual advance.. I don't know if you're to that point or not. I'd just.. lay it out on the table that you think you might like them, then just kinda leave it to the car to give you a feeling that it's mutual. My first experience with it was pretty unique, because my love Lilly actually proposed to ME first and kinda out of nowhere. It came in the form of a song, which has sense became 'our song' which is Dixie Chicks 'cowboy take me away.' She then immediately followed that song with 'Put your head on my shoulder.' XD I can tell you, that ride I was blushing red from the warm fuzzy vibes she was sending me. Let me be clear, it's not just the music, it's the vibe that accompanies it.
Keep drawing man, you're doing a wonderful job with these. :)
