That was one of my favorite movies as a little kid (still is). We used to return the VHS to the video rental store and they'd ask me what I wanted to rent and I'd say "Dark Chrystal!" even though we just returned it :P
It's kind of weird that nobody ever just got me a copy for my birthday or something, maybe they were just sick of it being on the TV all the time.
