*Of course his name is a play on the word "Jungle Gym" which is a structure of bars on a playground where children, play on and hang off of. Mabye "gym" also because of his liking to exercise.

*He was originally made for a mural comic strip project in my old high school. I never finished it.

*He was originally an average gorilla, but I eventually made him into a superhero.

*His shyness is based off of my real life shyness. I'm very shy!
