Sitting in my van taking a break, I started sketching. After a false start I started sketching this little darling. I couldn't do above her eyes due to the original false-start (I try to hang on to *everything* I draw, just one of my weird ways), and after a little debate I erased out most of the first and made room for this captive girl.

Ball-gags do have their place, I went with the cleave-gag because the girl in the picture I worked from was gagged that way, and I wanted to stay as true to the original picture as I could.
I may do her again, in a D/s setting rather than a DiD setting. Then a ball-gag would work perfectly, I think -- hope I can get your input when I do that one, too!

Usually, yes. A burglar/kidnapper's main interest is getting her helpless and quiet quickly, and a ballgag -- while it looks good on her -- is around a $15 investment. Duct tape or her own scarves or nylons are a lot cheaper
