We need a place to live, it seem unlikely for us to sustain, but there is still hope.
- The Garden of Eden Creation Kit.
It Turns every place into haven, just add water and stir, and Mars is no exception.
"Find the Geck. Save us."
The Geck is the answer to all in the Fallout series, a deus ex machina if you will. The story behind the illustration is influenced by the device, I decided to just call the device Geck, and borrow the design and appearance from the Fallout game. I guess you can call this an extension on the story, or a fan fiction?
I intentionally created a pseudo movie appearance.

Oh, I'm not an expert either, just curious. I thought of the philosopher stone because it was an alchemists ultimate objective, a substance capable of turning simple metal into gold, and to grant eternal life and knowdledge of all things. I mean, the Geck was not able to do all that, but was in the end capable of turning something without value into a haven capable of providing suitable life for the people searching for it, being that their ultimate goal. A Deus ex machina is more of an element not-present in the storyline that comes out unexpectedly to save the hero from an inescapable fate, like some sort of magic solution.
Well if it can turn Shady Sands into the seat of power in post-apocalyptic America, I suppose it could at least help you breathe on Mars.
Gorgeous illustration, dark and expressive. The color and visual balance is striking but still feels very organic, the subtitles definitely add to the cinematic expression.
10/10 very wow i'd buy that for a dollar
