I think it would be a good idea. Using your own emotions with a story can really lay on a good impacts.

Hmm, probably should do that first then. I always work jumbled and my emotions tend to effect what kind of ideas go into a story so I'm not a good one for suggestions XD

Yeah. There's so many side stories I could do with all the characters, I've just built up their lives that much.

Terrible people can be likeable in their own way too. A story of how they got to be like that or they were just born to be nasty and have no problems being nasty. Sometimes it's nice to like a jerk, like Bane (I know there are a lot of mixed opinions on this movie but I enjoyed it) he was a nasty SOB but I couldn't help but like him.

Well, Elke has her admirable traits. She did complete all the requirements for an MD while living in Nazi Germany, however they never gave her her degree. She's been bad since birth, so have her two brothers (her third brother not so much, he's kind of pathetic though).
Elke is not capable of loving another person, but she does dote on her two headed dog (born like that) Zeke and Axel.

That's pretty impressive! Personally an unloving bitch is the most interesting of characters rather than the perfect little sweet heart. My friend is guilty of making the always nice, Disney princess females and it gets pretty boring... There is a quote from Stephen Kings 'Dolores Claiborne' "Sometimes being a bitch is the only thing a woman has in this world" It's a pretty awesome book and movie

I've never been good at making "good girls" they always end up in trouble. I've also never been that fond of the "Disney princess" type of character, mostly because there's very little growth open to them.
Elke is a fun character to write, and fits that quote very well.

Some Disney princess' are ok... but eh (Course the stories they are based off of are very dark... the step sisters cut off pieces of their foot in the original Grimms Cinderella). Can't get into them, never could, I was a Godzilla and swamp thing girl XD I agree, little growth, they get saved, marry, pop out some babies and twiddle their thumbs for as far as I know...
A lot of bad characters are always fun to write, it's great trying to figure out how they tick.

A good rule of thumb, if your character could be replaced by a potted plant and the overall story would not change, she's not a good character. Like Sleeping Beauty didn't go jack (well, it's been forever since I saw the movie, but I don't recall her really contributing to the plot).

The how and the why are always fun to figure out.

LOL Yes! I remember being sooooooooooo *takes breath* sooooooooo bored in sleeping beauty! Well... at least until that dragon popped out... then that was cool! I know quite a few people who were pretty bored of that movie.
