Welp, I eventually hit the point where I decided I was going to stop futzing around with them. They look okay on camera, but I couldn't get the finish how I wanted them, and now it's much too cold out to spray my waterproof sealant, so there's that I can't do.

I've learned my lesson, and I'm ordering in claws for my final product, but these were... educational to make? Making claws for a set of three-fingered gloves back in the day was where I figured out all this paperclay business, and those were sooo much easier. Also, sealing the insides of these actually made them just a touch too small.

There's another hand of these, but the other hand had to hold the camera.

Now that these are out of the way, I can move onto my other project, which is thus far shaping up to be way more complex, but also much less frustrating.
