Out in the rural farms and desert of SanTanValley. get lost out here and you could end up in Tucson (TOO-son), or Globe. Hope ya had fun out here the weather is starting to get cool :)

Same here, born and raised in Phoenix. spent the last 8 years out east in Queen Creek/SanTan valley area. nothing but rural farmland. im the kinda guy that if i go through an area once i'll know it off the back of my hand. family sometimes called me the human GPS or MAP because sometimes i just aint that accurate XD.

also. yea for those that dont like the heat take Flagstaff,AZ got some great ski'ng and a great university or two. (GrandCanyonUnivirsity and NorthernArizonaUniv.) Love Arizona but might be moving to Alberta when i get the chance. theres a town that has flagstaff like weather with colder winters

No way! :3 You live in Queen Creek, so do I to tell the truth. Well there is definitely a lot of rural farm land, but not as much as there used to be. Specially since they have put in a bunch of houses. Though what what would be interesting to show you, is the part I live in has burrowing owls. ^^ But yeah umm mind if we talk in notes a little bit?

Finding Phoenix would be the easy the part, as the city can be seen from saguro lake. Like a giant light beacon lol, so better to travel at night if you have to. xD But yeah definitely cool to see some Arizonians amongst us, as I have been on sites where there like no one who lives in the state.

This time of year the temps are really no hotter in AZ as they are at Anthrocon in July. It shouldn't be too unbearable.

I wouldn't know xD I only passed through Arizona though Nevada was WAY hotter. And it was in the summer DX
