I'm really happy with this one because I tried some different things with it.
The idea for this comes from Otter3 (or Cube Otter). In describing his character once he mentioned that the character was in a way a meme, so that you never really saw the same thing twice. A character in flux.
P.S.>> Check out the strip he's involved with... http://nocona.comicgenesis.com/
How to draw that? Well, how about an otter drawn in several ways. The tail is Dali-esque (hey, liquid, of course I'd add that one), one leg is cubist, one arm is being drawn in so shows construction lines. Another part has no lines, another dual lined, and one part semi-transparent. I wanted to have him drawing in one hand because while a meme is an idea unit and may have several interpretations, the meme has an impact on itself to some degree.
Yeah, I know, that's all pretty pretentious for a drawing that's pretty simple, but this actually was some of the stuff I was thinking of when trying to do this. What should I say?

I think you're being overly critical on yourself for this. You were afraid it "wasn't me" or somesuch.
No, I think you've got the right idea. The funny thing about this character (it was a funny thing even from the very beginning) is that I never could see the otter the same way twice either. And what pictures I've had of him so far have had just that much variability.
Well done.

All your thoughts really came together on this I think. It's neat how you've managed to incorporate to many styles into a single character, yet they still remain cohesive. Definitely an otter in a state of flux. Quite liked the explanation as well, noted some things I would have otherwise missed.
