I was inspired by the the awesome pokemon fan art Kujacker did of Makofushii(Delphox) that I wanted to do my own. Truthfully, that post was the reason I looked up the new pokemon since I totally missed the debut.
Anyways, I wanted to post the line art since I haven't been on in a while. Looking at the final design, I feel that it was inspired by the samurai. He has long arm hair that resembles a keikogi, and his fur "skirt" looks like a hakama. he carries a stick that he sticks in his robe(like the saya of a sword) when not in use. I saw a lot of fan ideas on the final form of Fennekin before it was released, and I have to say they absolutely went in the right direction. The design in unique, cool, and creative. Many designs had him as a large quadrapedal fox with fire on it's paws or tail, which would be too similar to ninetails. On top of the sweet design, it also gained the psychic part type! Now as for Chespin's evolutions.....Ugh.
