The Wish


Brandy had always been a hard working person. She always was on time and worked over when others had left and never complained. She was a nice helpful person and she was appreciated for it. However she was not really pretty or stunning nor did she have large breasts or that perfect figure that men and perhaps some women wanted. She knew that she was plain in everybody’s eyes and escaped notice from all the nice boys and never was invited to events or even the prom. Still she didn’t worry about it that much; her mother always said, that there was a man for every woman, and she would find him someday.

She graduated from high school and began to work as an office worker in a giant corporation. She never questioned what they produced or the morals of the corporation. She did her job and never missed work or came in late. Again she was invisible at work, but her paycheck told her that she was getting paid well for her efforts. As the months continued the pretty girls and the managers became an item and suddenly they would be promoted in their jobs. Brandy knew that they didn’t have to do much more than bat their eyes, smooch or jump in the sack to get better pay and or promoted. Rumors ran ramped around the company. She wished she could have done the same, but no one bothered to even ask her for a date or even out to lunch. She was just invisible and getting paid for her work.

At the end of the first year she was still in the same place but she got a raise and a letter of accommodation for perfect attendance. After the Christmas office party she was congratulated by several of the woman and one man walked up and shook her hand and smiled at her. “Come to my office after the new year we need to discuss your career.“ He said. Brandy was thrilled at the prospect of a new position in the company and perhaps more money. She spent Christmas with her family and enjoyed the holidays but that excitement stayed with her. The first day back she went to her appointment with the man. Entering he asked her to close the door behind her and she did.
“Please sit down.” He asked. “She took a seat in front of the desk and sat smiling for him. He got up and walked to her and he began to walk around her and he even put his hand under her chin and looked into her hazel eyes.

“I can see why all the other men ignored you. You are as plain as they come for a woman but your inner qualities and your hard work put you above them all. I see the promotions based on looks and who they sleep with. But its all on the surface and nothing lasts in that atmosphere. You my dear will last and be here long after they are gone and lost their advantages. I’m looking for a woman of your caliber for my office and to be my assistant in the coming years. The job pays well and the benefits are many. For instance I can help you to be beautiful and popular. You will be admired and wanted by men and women alike. Would that be something you wish for?” he asked.
“I have wished for such things all my life sir.” She answered.

“Good! Then it is settled. All I need is for you to sign this contract and you will have what you want. The great thing is that every year you get a month of vacation! And as a signing bonus you will get your first vacation right away! He remarked. Brandy gladly signed the contract. That night she packed for her vacation and when she woke up she felt strange. Her bedroom had changed and everything was different. She moaned because she hurt all over. She felt like she had gone through a blender and was poured into a new body. She laid there for a long time trying to get her body to respond and slowly she began to move and when she sat up the vertigo made the room spin.

When it stopped she found herself in a nice hotel room that had to be a five star resort. She slowly got up and she had trouble standing. WTF she said wobbling to the bathroom. She reached the sink and looked into it and then screamed! Looking back at her was a Red Fox! She slowly reached up and the reflection did the same thing! She felt her muzzle and slowly checked out her new form that was half fox and half human. She was a red, white, and black fox and the colors were deep and rich. She spent several hours examining her new body and then moving about. Finally she realized that she looked rather stunning and she looked at her fluffy tail and swished it enjoying the feeling. She walked to her suitcase and found a completely different one. Inside it had beautiful clothes that actually fit her new body and her much larger chest. She stood looking at herself in the mirror. When she finished with her dress up her stomach growled and she mustered up the courage to leave the room.

As she walked she could hear people talking and laughing in the rooms and as she walked down the circular staircase to the main lobby the people there stopped and looked at her. She was surprised that they all were some kind of Arthro form and many bowed to her and they watched her walk to the front desk. The Rabbit like man there smiled. “Ah Miss Brandy how was your rest? He asked. She stared for a moment and then replied. I slept well I feel funny though.” She replied. “You look stunning my dear.” A man from behind her said. She turned to find a dark wolf smiling at her. He wore a suit and he had a top hat and a cane. “Come my dear you look famished. I’ll take you to the restaurant.” He said bowing and extending a hand to her. The man was charming and his British accent stole her heart. She went with him and had the best breakfast ever. They talked and he told her that she was at a very special resort. It was on an island in the pacific and only special people could come there. She was one of the special people and the Hotel staff had been expecting her.

As the days ran on she enjoyed the sun and wore her bikini swimsuit out on the beach and took long walks with the Wolf and after a few days she was sleeping with him and he was fantastic in bed and for some reason all the hotel residents were happy for them. The days turned into a week and then two and they danced enjoyed and loved. Brandy was in heaven she was popular as she was told and she had found her love. It was her wish come true. At the end of the month she woke up and her new love sat crying. “What is wrong?” she asked. “The vacation is over. It will be a year before I can see you again!” he said. “Why is that?” She asked. “Didn’t you read your contract?” he asked. “No I didn’t.” she answered. He let out a huge sigh ad he stood up and passionately kissed her. He put on his hat and took his cane and walked out the door. “Next year my love! He said and vanished down the hall.

Brandy sat shocked. A full year? What did I miss? She asked herself. She had to admit she had experienced everything she wanted and found her love. What else was there?” she wondered. The door slammed shut and the room got cold and she suddenly found a collar on her neck she reached up and felt it and it was cold and it seemed to hold back something inside her. She pulled on it and only found a ring to attach a leash to it. There was no place to unlock it and she felt a presence in the room. She looked up and her boss from work was standing there. “You! She remarked. “Yes it is me your owner. The vacation is over and its time to work.” He said. Then he reached down and locked a leash to her collar. She pulled on the leash. “Is this come kind or sick joke?” She asked. “Its no joke I now own you. Now come along we have lots of work to do.” he said. “But you promised I’d be beautiful, popular, admired and wanted.” She said.
The man smiled. Did you not have all of them this past month? He asked. Brandy realized he was right. ‘Um, yes I did. But I can’t work like this I’m no longer human.” She said. “That is no problem. The work you do does not require you to be human anymore.” He said. “What can I do like this?” She asked. “The man smiled. “The work I need. Child you are my Familiar and you are vital part of my magic’s. We have much to learn together and next year you will have your month vacation as I guaranteed in the contract. Every wish has its price my child now come along.” He said and pulled her along behind him.
