It's not really supposed to be an imax theatre per se, it's actually based on many different grand old fashioned theatres that still exist today. If you search for images of "palace theatre" in google you'll see some of the images I used as reference. The spaces are huge and the screens are as big as an imax in some of them. Duncan wouldn't easily fit in a normal sized theatre, and when you're as ggi as he is you can be choosy. :D
