Because of my childhood (long story short: it was shitty), I have told myself to grow into a cheerful adult that doesn't hold grudges or stay angry (what's the point in grumping around and roiling in negative emotions when we only live once, right?) and Lakota, as a character, is the direct product of a shitty, abusive childhood: a happy, derpy thing who is always smiling.

So, Lakota isn't so much of a separate character as she really is just an online representation of myself (except more of an idealized self, I suppose, as I have plenty of issues and problems IRL that Lakota doesn't have, of course XD )

AHH sorry, I'm kind of rambling and no one cares about my life rambles. XD

SO, long story short, if Lakota and I met IRL we would leap around together in joy for no reason other than it is fucking awesome to be alive, no matter how shitty of a day you've had.


I am overall happy with the art itself; I can't draw humans except for awkward semi-anime chibis like this, so this is as good as it gets for humans for me. I'm paler than this IRL, but I didn't have a flesh-colored marker lighter than this one XD My hair isn't exactly this, uh, orange, either - I kind of messed it up. I also forgot to color in my over 9000 moles, so I added those in digitally for shits and giggles.
