Acrylic Paint Art Experiment: Hourglass Sculpture
This piece of art was constructed out of 100 % acrylic paint (excluding the canvas and pins holding it in place). The background was made by simply mixing the paint together and, and the hourglass shaped sculpture wa made by by pouring different colors of acrylic paint over a plastic cup layer by layer until it was as thick as I wanted before cutting it off and placing it on the canvas. The spirals are strips of acrylic that were twisted.
