Another of my more recent sketches, featuring my Welsh border collie girl, Amity!
Amity is a really playful fem: so here she is, naked but modest.
I'm hoping to have this picture inked and coloured pretty soon!

WOW NO COMMENTS?? WTF..? Ill pop your cherry then (giggles)
I love the blue pencil with the mechanical aspects of your art Fox, I have never been trained that way when I draw, I dont know why but I see it as more work but when you sketch your art there is something else I see in it, ITs the love you give your work.
I don't know if anyone has stated that but if not I did.

In some respects, the blue pencil is a bit more work. But it allows me to develop the character more fully, before committing to the grey pencil for the final version. So there is method to the madness!
And yes, I do enjoy sketching - more these days than ever before. But I've really fallen back in love with artwork, and I'm absolutely making the most of it!

Don't worry - there's no chance of me burning out! If I was pushing myself to my limits, then that could happen: but the fact is, I'm not. I'm spending about an hour a day during the week on my artwork, about 4 hours on a Friday, 3 on a Saturday and 4 on a Sunday. That gives me a whole load of time to do other things, whilst still enjoying every minute I get to work on my art!
Well, sort of. I'm not a great one for socialising - I don't drink at all - so I spend much of my spare time at home with my family. But that means I do get to spend a lot of time doing the things I love - and it just so happens that drawing and writing are among the things I enjoy doing the most!
