An intern? Oh, what a thought! Someone to keep the office in order, the neverending paperwork in check and to deal with pesky students while I am off to Varius? The idea has its merits, especially due to the fact that returning home usually meant a whole mountainrange of work piled up on my desk.

Cleaning? Good Sir, if a crowded workplace is a sign of a crowded mind, then what is an empty one a sign of? Should you refer to dust, well I say it just gives the air...character.
And I would never dare to touch the fragile webs of my arachnid roommates, actually I used this opportunity to put together a series of photographs for future studies and lectures! Also, they keep the flies at bay in summer.

Oh, that old book there? Hm...maybe it is time to give it back to the Institute for Archeology. Initially I thought it woukd give me some insights about Scarabaeidae, but it just seems to have some religious mumbo-jumbo written on its rather heavy pages. Nevertheless, I have to find the key for it first ... maybe a little tiding up the place wouldn't be such a bad idea after all...
