well the corner of the mouth is barely visible behind the cookie you are nomming there. If you know it is there, the eyes give a feeling of content and sedated happiness. If you do not see the corner of the mouth and do not notice the smile, the eyes look quite sad. It's amazing the way such small details can change the way a picture on the whole is perceived
