I've almost had it with Noke's borderline-hatred of being fat. No matter how many times this dragon told him his body is designed for maximum gain, he refused any sort of compliment.

So, I took him to a buffet and rented the place out for just him and I. Unlike my usual, silly, fun-loving self, I ordered him around like a drill sergeant. "Eat more! Eat faster! C'mon, you lousy excuse for a living legend, scarf that steak like it's the first thing you've eaten in decades! Your body isn't going to fill out on its own, y'know!"

After a good 10 minutes of yelling myself hoarse, and an equal time for Noke of straight stuffing his face, we now have a better-proportioned Garuda. But, still, Noke made the almost-off-hand remark, "I wonder if I can salvage my sleek physique from this disaster."
