I've been doing a couple of the speedpaint prompts from here. It can be pretty challenging to get something done in 30 minutes, but its good practice. This one was to the vegetable golem prompt, though I went more vegetative.

The Golem slowly lowers it's featureless face towards the wayward man below him, hardly making a sound.
The man steps backwards in surprise and uncertainty. Not sure if the Golem who seemingly appeared from nowhere is harmless, or the end of his short adventure. Panicking as images of it's fibrous fist turning him into fertilizer dance in the back of his mind.
A fierce wind evidently from nowhere whips around the great beast, causing the little man to stumble. Traces of a fine whisper can be heard in the howling tumult. His eyes widen in horror; at their... revelation. "So... I hear you're a vegetarian."
