Was it one of the older model ones? I've heard some less than happy reviews on those. The only real problem I have with mine is the cursor lag, but I'll probably find a way to turn off the cursor when using the pen, or something like that.

I dunno how old "old" is for Cintiqs, but it was just a couple years ago. My brother has one, and I used it. The lines just felt so sketchy inaccurate, and just plain terrible compared to what I'm capable of on a mouse. :\

Couple years ago sounds like first generation cintiqs, I have a second generation one, so that might why our experiences differ. It might also be that it hadn't been calibrated for your use, as you aren't really touching the screen directly with the pen anyway.

Analog mice are pretty good for making accurate lines, though. Optical mice, not so much.

Analog? Is that the one with the trackball? I have one of those sitting in my closet. Maybe I should dig it out for art purposes. :D

Well, considering the other times I've drawn her, she's always been with a pencil, I suppose. I got the inspiration for her from this way back when I'd been drawing characters for like a year or two.

So she's kind of a personification of my "muse", I guess.

I'm gonna have to do that one of these days... when I can pin down what my muse actually looks like. I'll tell you this, though; she's a well-muscled little booger and not afraid to use violence on me.
