Finally pinned down Sarah Mclachlan's "Possession" after hearing it for the first time in an episode of "Due South" many years ago. It provoked a very strong emotional reaction of tragic loss and, of course, I needed to turn it into a scene/story.
So we have the dramatic climax to the tale, our Heroine has just killed her lover after a particularly brutal hand-to-hand fight. She had been investigating a murder, and he had become her first real love, but proved to be the perpetrator she'd been looking for.

Anyone else hear a evocative tune and spin a scene or whole story out of it?
