Nice, like the recap on the story. it is unfortunate that humans could be like that, selling off sentient beings like that. well, at least spark has a good friend now.

I agree, and I'm happy that you are following along with the story. It is quite rare to get a reader who posts consistently and I can't wait to hear what you have to say about the chapters to come. I hope they continue to meet your expectations.

sooo much has happened to spark and paul seems to really like her so thats cools^_^, and even better is that they didnt get lost in the maze of plants too hehe, those things can be confusing to get out of at times ^_^

I just finished reading the other chapters and the amount of detail you go into just blows me away, Your writing style is very clear and straightforward and thats something I don't see often when I read stories online. I think your writing is incredible I look forward to future installments. :)

Well, after a long bout with writers block I finally figured out what the problem was. I had yet to finish this chapter! Reposted with new content and will hopefully have the next chapter out soon! again, sorry for the long delay, been struggling here to get the next chapter out but couldn't get things to flow properly until I realized this chapter was posted incomplete. Hope everyone enjoys it!

I did like the story very much! I await more. I would say the thing I enjoyed most about the story was it felt original to me, which I may have mentioned in my last note is pretty difficult for a sci-fi story. I really like the concepts that are being dealt with - especially concerning Spark and her backstory.

I'd like to see more development concerning Rick. The monetary sacrifice, personal risk, and speed in which he took care of Spark's license tags, operation, and then even going so far as to accept her as his own family leads me to believe he has more reasons why he chose to help her. Maybe it is the cynic in me, but it always it questionable to see someone give up so much from just "the kindness of their heart". Maybe he had a daughter who passed away, maybe he was once cruel to a kit in the past and is making up for it, or maybe he's just a really nice guy. :)

Also, as I mentioned to you earlier, I think it would be very interesting to run into one of Spark's siblings at some point.

certainly, and those are things I was thinking about for a while now, just not sure how to impliment at the moment with the current location. Perhaps once Rick returns things could get a bit more interesting and maybe a bit more of the story could leak out as well ^^
