So this is one of my oldest characters, Isamu, an eastern dragon. He's needless to say changed a lot since I made him. He first went from a skinny bookworm to a phrat boy drinker to a deity of knowledge. I like to keep all that canon as character progression, but as he stands now he's just a huge fatassed mage who likes to abuse his near-godlike magical abilities to fatten up himself and his friends. He's now a dragon of simple pleasures and constant amusement.

On an artistic standpoint I wanted to try something new here, for kicks. There are no black outlines in this picture, it's all just white and blue with a layer of shading, except for his eyes. I think the image gets across however and there's no saying I'll use this style more. Also, yay for halfassed gradient backgrounds. One day I'll learn to draw a REAL background too.
