I think the shadowing is fine. I don't have any tutorials that I could send you to. I haven't really looked for any in a long time. I don't see anything wrong with the shading either that needs pointing out. I am very new to digital shading myself. I had someone sugest I use a slightly darker color then I did. Mine was lighter then your shading so I can see who that would be important to darken it. Your's is the right shade most likely.
