Due to popular demand I am working on getting some more blank owl masks molded and cast, and because you guys are awesome, I'll share pictures of he process!
This is a wax copy I cast from the old mold, which had warped and become damaged. From there I pushed and pulled out the warps while the wax was still warm, and now I'll be going through and cleaning up lines, and in general making it look more detailed and all that.
The original was sculpted in Monsterclay, the final will be urethane resin. Blank casts will be $35 each, and I'll be doing some painted versions that will run anywhere from $60-$80. I've got se new designs I'm eager to try!
Pre-orders will start soon, I'll post up the official date and link in the next couple posts. There will probably only be a few of these at first due to the fact that I'm almost out of resin and a couple gallons of that stuff costs an arm and a leg. D:
